The Numbers Game

The Playoffs are Set!

by Alana Klein

Highlights of the Week
  • Oceanside Stealth @ Michigan Arsenal
    • In what has unfortunately been the story for Oceanside the entire season, they hung close (to a very good team) but just could not come away with the W. Michigan looked good in what was essentially a warm-up for the playoffs.
  • Beaumont Renegades @ Minnesota Monsters
    • Beaumont put up a valiant fight, but the Monsters came out victorious … enabling Washington to sneak into the playoffs.
Into the Record Books
  • Not exactly a record but, the two teams combined for fewer points (82) than Michigan scored on its own last weekend (86). (Note to self: Hire an intern for next season who can look this kinda stuff up.)

Interesting Fact/Stat of the Week

  • The fact that Michigan started the season 1-5 and had the 5-seed wrapped up with a game to go is absolutely WILD.
